BRICK & BRUSH by CID Design Group for Audrey Lane continues with its second release: Soak Stain, featuring the work of artist Kristy Gammill. Kristy delves into the fluid beauty of color and form, drawing inspiration from the harmony of saturation and flow. This series reflects her passion for translating mood into layers of tone and depth, creating a mesmerizing sense of movement in each piece. Kristy’s "Soak Stain" technique is rooted in her desire to evoke an immersive, contemplative experience, where every brushstroke brings a rich interplay of hues that shift and soak into the canvas like water into earth. This collection captures the essence of fluidity, inviting viewers to feel the depth and rhythm of her vision.

One painting, six ways to tell it. Every composition starts from the same original artwork. What changes is how it meets the wall: whole, broken, scattered, mirrored. Each one is built in the Design Studio, tile by tile, at your wall’s true scale.
Brick & Brush Zellige
Due to the handcrafted process used to produce the Brick & Brush art tiles, the zellige field tiles’ colors will not match exactly but have been carefully selected to coordinate with the artwork. Please approve samples before ordering.
An Idea Was Born
As creatives, we are ever searching for products that are artful, unusual, elevated, and inspired. We believe in the power of collaboration where collective minds create the uncommon. Following a research trip to Lisboa Portugal, Jenn Zella, founding partner of CID Design Group and Collective, envisioned co-creating a muralesque tile collection with longtime friend and beloved fine artist Kristy Gammill. The collection was intended to bring forward the storied tile facades of Lisboa to today’s buildings and spaces. The duo carefully curated a collection of Kristy’s brilliant botanical-inspired paintings as the first Brick & Brush series for Audrey Lane.
The canvas for the collection is a handmade Moroccan zellige tile that is as beautiful as the works of art it holds. What makes this collection so unusual is not only its artistry but the powerful customization that Audrey Lane is known for.
The collaboration between these four women has brought to life an uncommon product that was created with joy and purpose. The collection is intended to celebrate true artistry and be cherished indefinitely like fine art and the storied walls of Lisboa.
